I'm sure I'm not supposed to be shipping these two characters but I am. Because so far these two appear to be the only characters in this book with any sort of chemistry.

What? What's this? Cally is actually thinking! I bet it doesn't last, though. I'd better not get used to it.

Still waiting on a plot to show up.

I'm not sure what (if anything) is going on here. At the beginning of the book we're introduced to V. Vivian and his said eyes (along with his holier-than-thou misogynous attitude). Now we've been spending time with Carlisle Heth and her misadventures in boating. Is there supposed to be a plot in here somewhere? Because I haven't stumbled upon it yet.
