Status Updates From A Mormon Mother

This book is wonderful and so tragic. I’m struggling to reconcile her gracious intelligence and self-insight with her husband’s manipulative, self-important, neglectful blasé attitude. Her family is beautiful, but her marriage was such a waste. Many marriages are uniquely unhappy, but this was compounded by the polygamy. As Annie notes, it’s easy to turn to another family when another has some tension.

An intelligent woman, filled with dignity and strong sense of duty. I enjoy this book.
