Status Updates From Knowing God

This one is going to take me a while since I need to read it in small chunks but chapter 1 is already great.

Packer introduces the intentions of his work with a series of questions for the reader to consider or answer in order to get the most out of the book. One is about the purpose of knowing about God and he goes on to quote Psalm 119 as the psalmist views Gods word to be for the purpose of God more.

I started reading this book over a year ago, never finished it but made it about 2/3 of the way through. The material in this book is insanely dense, and takes a lot of mental effort to chew and understand. I’m picking up where I left off!
