Status Updates From Dientes blancos

I accidentally stole this book from a frisbee Airbnb. Don’t tell them. I currently have a not great impression of Zadie Smith; I am excited by the beginning of this book as it seems this book might change that. Time to find out in very small chunks on the subway.

Very very well written

Unfortunately…will be DNFing this. Wanted to love it so bad. I am just never motivated to read this. Nothing happens. I don’t care about the characters. It feels like a series of chapters rather than anything building up to a story. Which is fine if this were character-focused but it’s not that either.
