Status Updates From Els arbres

I DO NOT LIKE THIS BOOK. More like a contemporary mystery or a draft movie script than a sophisticated literary satire of southern racial violence. Repetitive. CORNY dialogue. Absurd romance plot. Paper thin characters. Shocked to see the five stars reviews for this. He’s not an author for me. I loved James but I wonder if that was just him allowing himself to be EDITED, which he did not do in his other books.
