*sigh in disappointment.

The book's pretty easy to read, but everything’s happening way too fast—it kinda feels like I’m watching a movie on fast-forward.
Also, building the whole relationship around a surprise pregnancy? Not really my thing. And honestly, I didn’t expect this much sex.
From the very first chapter, it’s just nonstop, and at some point I was like, ‘okay, we get it, can we move on now?’

“I’ve waited. Boy, have I fucking waited to have her completely. I wasn’t lying when I said I’ve been counting down the days. Truth be told, I had a countdown on my phone, guaranteeing the exact hour I could have my girl raw again.”

“I love you so much. You’re everything I never knew I needed. I’ll protect you forever, Red.”

“…. there’s problems in each home, no matter how well put together they are.”

“I stand, tugging Emi to her feet. I refuse to look at her, even though I know she’s as innocent a pawn as me. I can’t help but take my feelings out on her; she’s my only outlet for the rage bubbling inside me.”
