this was going great, fun, enjoyable, well written, the works
but as you get to part two, something weird starts to happen, as if the first part got erased
it starts to be filled with little footnotes ‘describing’ the Egyptian culture, footnotes FULL of misinformation and stereotypes, like a white man marveling at the savages of Egypt
i am no nationalist, but this pissed me right off
i hope it redeems itself
