And I guess I should be all excited about an alpha swinging her around everywhere, but I don't see much difference between Wulfe (that's his name) and the creep with Chalcey several chapters ago.

This entire book is one long what not to do situation. Seriously.

So Chalcey is in bed and woken up by The Warrior who is angry she left him though her presence called to him (eyeroll). He than grabs her up again after she bites him because a total stranger is in her home and is ordering and grabbing her.

Chalcey can't help her feelings and how much she wants to moan when The

while proclaiming she is his.

THIS MAKES NO SENSE!

So The Warrior (as Chalcey calls him) goes in on the creep that tried to paw her is able to speak English? WTH? Wasn't he entombed for centuries are something. Where did he get his leather clothes he is wearing? Are you serious.

The only small point I am giving Chalcey is she finally pounded the guy after realizing that a stranger should not grab her and stick his tongue down her throat

Fine, I'll go with her not smart at all plan. Letting some guy bigger than you even get his hands on you because in your head you can someone get out of his hold? I just can't even.

So a total stranger comes out of nowhere, knocks creep down, and is now shoving his tongue down Chalcey's throat. But it's okay because she feels lust towards this total guy who apparently was following her home.

I'm so sorry guys, but holy crap I just can't right now.

So Chalcey (I hate her name) is walking home from a bar in the middle of the night which I don't have all of the time to get into why what she was doing was not a smart decision. But the guy who was harassing her shows up, and then we have Chalcey who apparently has taken self defense classes or whatever she's babbling about is letting this creep

with money and is now out at a club getting pawed at by a jackass. Her friend Sam is clueless and is acting like Chalcey (her nickname) should be happy that said jackass is in to her.

Good grief I am bored. If this doesn't pick up I am just going to DNF it.

So we have warriors encased in crystals. And we fast forward several hundred years or so (I am guessing) to modern times and we have a young woman named Chalcedony (no serious) who seems to be having some issues

I swear.

So this band of warriors is kidnapping comely women and doing horrible ass shit and get encased in crystal until true love frees them?! What the hell?

This book was unworldly amazing! I ended up taking this book everywhere, trying to find any free moment possible so I could read another page.

Chapter 1 complete and already thrown. Ray got his ass handed to him and Chelsey went from woman about to kick ass the woman swoon in eight seconds flat. Funny.

Loving this story so far. Ultimate 'fish out of water' tale. Hero is scrumptious- love his antiquated speech and thought. Enjoying the relationship he has with his heroine's best friend. Cute!

Blurg. Nothing is worse when a book has a good start that you enjoy then gets halfway through and flounders. The story and writing is crumbling following an info dump and this last chapter felt so odd - as if entire chunks had been edited out.
