Lexi needs therapy but so do I after reading that chapter. I think I'm gonna cry.

Bad luck followed her like an ancient curse. She’d climb steadily toward a goal, then lose her footing halfway through. She never managed to achieve what she set out to accomplish. Every endeavor was doomed from the start.
