Status Updates From The Knitting Book

So many patterns! I wish there were more beginning ones, though.

While much of the second part of the book is Klingon (meaning I don't understand the instructions well because I am a beginner), many useful ideas are provided and I have noted some things to try in the near future.

I'm so over my head reading about these color techniques. I have tried my first one, which involves very simple skinny two color stripes.

This book is so informative and the photos are lovely and helpful. I'm so excited to find 18 patterns that simply use knit and purl stitches (but nothing else adding complexity like increases or decreases or whatever). FUN!
