This book really could've benefited from some detailed illustrations - I can just about picture the Takers and Delons, though in my head it's hard to make them look menacing rather than ridiculous, but the Silencers I'm really struggling with.
Man this romance sucks, I was picturing Lou as a little kid in the previous book.

This is reminding me more and more of the Demonata series.

There's a weird dream-like quality to this book that I didn't feel with the first one, almost bipolar. Not really into it, I hope it gets better. Also the whole situation with the Delons isn't nearly as scary as the Takers were, it's just weird and disturbing.
Also ugh, we're doing the "she's not my girlfriend" thing again? Just because Oz admits it's a dumb thing to get defensive about doesn't make it less annoying.

Oh I would've died of fright from the first chapter if I was Oz, that was creep-tacular.
Kinda disappointed the main setting isn't a psych hospital, I love those "you're actually crazy" scenarios.
So I'm guessing each book is going to show a world imagined by each different Storyteller.

This series has me hooked, the end of book 2 had me a little depressed but I had it figured out as to what was about to happen and then bam. Great characters from the first book and they brought in new characters to love and hate, But towards the end they do something that i thought could have been done a bit better in a death scene. I dont want to spoil it because I do think its worth a read for sure.

this series has me hooked. but killing off a character at the start without much details or anything is harsh but it did hit pretty hard.
