Status Updates From The Great Gatsby & Related ...

Still somewhat indifferent to this novel as the first time I read it and a similar chore. I appreciate its literary value and the era in which it is set but . . . issues.

Since it's the 100th anniversary of the Great Gatsby, thought I'd re-read it now. Admittedly, I haven't read it since high school and while memorable I never quite understood its acclaim. Perhaps after 30+ years my view of it will change.
