Fans didn't like "Wormhole X-Treme!" when it aired? Why? It's so fun! I also love "200". I love when shows can make fun of themselves and just have fun.

I didn't know Scalzi was involved with SG-1! I knew he was a consultant on Universe, but apparently they hired him to rewrite some episodes! They're talking about "Tangents" right now, which is the one where O'Neill and Teal'c get trapped in an experimental aircraft as it ascends to space.

I just learned that Carmen Argenziano died :( They were talking about him playing Sam's father, and how much warmth he brought to that character, so I googled him and now I'm sad.

Amazing what a show not being on the verge of cancellation can do for it. By the end of season one, the production team had an unprecedented, guaranteed order of 88 episodes from Showtime, which meant they had room to breathe and could amortize costs for sets and other production costs, because they knew spending the money up front would be an actual long-term investment.

Every time a person goes through the Stargate for the whole run of the show, it cost $5k. I'm never going to be able to forget this fact. Every time I see someone go through now on rewatches, I'm just gonna be like, mental tally check, $5,000!
