Status Updates From Every Beat of Her Heart

Every character told her repeatedly throughout the book to be truthful. This is such a stupid black moment. I have to wonder if publishers force this stuff. You see less of this in KU books because they would be burned alive and not earn as much money because of less page reads.

This secret is being withheld for so long now that I am questioning the overall ethics of the characters and not liking them at all anymore

Okay, it's a little creepy now that aspects of Piper's personality are evidently changing after the transplant

Wow I already thought this was a woman nowhere near ready to move on and she describes her new love interest's eye color by her late wife's favorite scotch lol

Well this had me tearing up during its prologue so I'm already invested

If I could give this book 100 stars I would. I really started to get frustrated with the secret then it was exposed and in the cutest most innocent, precious way. 2 amazing families and the best love story ever.

It’s almost the end of the book and she still hasn’t told her. The story is good but dragging this out it unnecessary. Maybe it is her heart after all?

I wanted a story that would rip my heart out and boy have I found it in this one. Only thing I’m bothered by is can Piper tell Gillian already???? I have a feeling it will happen on the last pages of the story 😞 definitely should have told her by now.

why do these 40 y/o women talk like they’re in their early 20’s????

i’m just trudging along until i eventually find the smut i guess

So far, a little slow and boring. I feel like I have already discerned the link between the two women, but I’m sure it will be revealed as I read more.

Overall seems like it will be a fluffy romance, with potential for some heaviness if my hunch is real~
