1st short done.
The way Salinger writes makes so much sense to me. I predict that I will reread many of these stories many times in my life. Though wonderful, that I’ve found characters to read that help me in a way I can’t explain, it makes me sad that Buddy Glass dosent have his own personal Buddy Glass to look to. Nor does Franny or Zooey or Seymour or even Salinger himself.

De verdad que este autor me tiene ensimismada… es como mirar con un microscopio la vida de una familia estadounidense post gran depresión desde la perspectiva de los diferentes integrantes

Oh god how badly I wish there was an audiobook for this…I cannot keep reading aloud and confusing majority of the commas for a certain type of speaking style #almostthere #getmeoutofhere #whatthefwackisbuddytalkingabout

“Permanently, from that morning on, Seymour was hooked. By the time he was fourteen, one or two of us in the family were fairly regularly going through his jackets and windbreakers for anything good he might have jotted down during a slow gym period or a long wait at the dentist’s.

“It’s an exceedingly weighty matter when six naturally profuse verbalizes and expounders have an undefeatable champion talker in the house.”
