Ugggh, I duplicitousness in a character as a plot device. This heroine is really awful. They're saving her people, she doesn't have to work, she's fed and doted on by her mate, they have a great sex life, she gets to sit around and read and take bubble baths, yet she's constantly trying to hide things from him. I hope she gets a hell of a spanking, though I think she really doesn't deserve him at all.

This heroine is exhausting. It's like she has no real personality except "shaking with fear" and "uptight" No matter how much Tornn does for her, it's never enough, meanwhile, she's still secretly talking to her ex who is obviously plotting against her mates people and she tells him nothing. Ugh, I know women are better than this, why do they only get written in one horrible dimension?

Oh god, just fuck already! This book is basically just smut tied together loosely by purple prose, don't act like you're building tension, just get on with it! 🤣

Okay, I was greatly in need of this whole caveman "throw her over my shoulder and ravage her" thing, but omg, why are alien romance novels so cheesey! I cringe everytime he says "Fluxxing" instead of "Fuck"

Alright yall, im going to attempt to listen to this book and see what i think of it. There are a BUNCH of mixed reviews. And im not going to lie im definitely hesitant. Dont get me wrong ive had my fair share of dark romance. But i’m hoping that it is dark romance and not a completely toxic relationship. As there is a difference in my opinion.
