Status Updates From A Wrinkle in Time (Time, #1)

This book is getting worse and worse. The story is moving too quickly, there's zero emotional stakes. All the characters besides the 3 protagonists are presented as so competent that everything feels trivial.

I don't get the hype. And the whole introduction chapter from the movie director at the start is really ironic considering how bad the movie is rated.

I'm really liking the dark spooky vibe of this book. Not sure how I would feel about it if I was a kid, definitely an eye-opening read.
