Finding the world compelling, and enjoyed how the author managed to carry the feeling of the olden times character’s world to the futuristic character.

Finding I’m not as much connecting with the futuristic character which speaks to how well the writing captures the essence of the character.

Is us thinking the world is ending now a sign of narcissism?
- in relation to not having kids because of the moral standpoint of the world (page 189)
Also lovely that the end of the world is continuous and never ending very nice sentiment
