So far, so good! Love books about the early history of Japan

Yeah yeah, I'm on a Japanese kick. A friend's mom gave this to me, said I'd like it. Pretty entertaining, but could probably use a good scissor-job from an editor. The post-Perry era of Japanese history is terribly interesting though.
