3. didn't get the horror element but the setting description and language were really evocative. maybe i just like birds too much to fear their presence

this page count is a guess, i just want to document my #thoughts on each short story
1. i liked the framing as a kind of cassandrian vision of a hideous future, but it didn't actually scare me that much
2. this was just a magnus archives statement that, for once, ended with the guy making a good decision. big fan of him learning to love and appreciate his wife (both first two stories were wife guy povs)
