When I read the description of this book years ago upon purchase I remember the back cover saying the poets were from many countries and of many traditions, but I was still prepared for this to mainly center a white christian american perspective, and could not be more shocked and pleased to have been beyond wrong in this assumption.

This is running the whole spectrum, as most poetry anthologies are likely to do.
But when one's good - WOW it's really good!
