Status Updates From Biting the Hand

The prose is powerful and hits close to home. I started listening to the audio read by the author. (Thanks, Hoopla.) My goodness! This book needs to be heard in her voice.

Very interesting chapter exploring the occasionally tense race relations between african americans and asian americans... it's a hard to have conversation. I suppose the idea is always that white people must be the oppressor but it's harder to talk about a minority going against another minority
