I wanted to read the book that a Hallmark Christmas movie was based on. I understood that this had a faith bent to it, which is fine. However, I was unprepared for how heavy-handed it would be. What is helping me continue reading is remembering a scene from the movie Saved where Mandy Moore's character throws a Bible into someone's back and screams, "I am filled with Christ's love." It's really helping...
