2. En el cuenco: 3.5⭐ interesante y bien escrito. Qué temita que tiene el autor con las relaciones entre vejetes y niñas, ¿eh? Esas cosas me alejan un poco y por eso los cuentos no me terminan de cerrar.

I am so glad I decided to re-read this book. It's so very good. I just finished the "In the Hall of the Martian Kings." The reason I'm re-reading it is I have such fond memories of the title story, "Persistence of Vision," that re-reading it has been on my list forever.

"The Persistence of Vision": I've mixed feelings about this story. Eponymous with the book, it's not Science Fiction by any measure, despite being certainly speculative -- more like a 'social experiment' story. It's about a restless person (the protagonist) finding utopia; about Language (note the big L) and how it not only conditions how we see the world but how a society can organize around it. Fantastic, 4.5/5.
