Kind of a 12 year diary of high-level internal resistance efforts to Hitler, 1933-1945.
It hangs together pretty well and is important history.
The writing is not bad.
Many have seen the movie Valkyrie with Tom Cruise, but despite the length, this book is worth it.
Gisevius, in the end, is attempting to show the scope of the internal German dismay, and give an accounting of his friends' sacrifice.
