This book is so weird and terrible but it's ok because it's ugly betty vibe (early 2000s NYC) and ugly betty had taken over my life

i checked out the other reviews and boi am i glad to know i'm not the only one who find this ugly. the synopsis has potential, it's trying to be the devil wears prada but that's all (lol). for the record, i saw this book at a mall in 2019. good thing i ran out of cash back then!!!
