Listen I understand trauma and family but listening to Ash defend his father like “no he did the best he could mom leaving broke him…” like that would even work for me if he’d hit him but the shit he did can not be excused that way omg TT he better go through some healing and be happy he dies (please!) by the end of the book

Also why can’t they be surprised the sound is coming from the partner who they think is out of their league???? Or just their partner period??? Sick of it always being “I made that sound!” Omg okay 2 years old learning how to talk or some shit TT

Over the course of these three books I swear I’ve heard “it took me forever/too long to realize that sound had come from me” about 5+ times. It’s not just this series either I think it’s going to be my new phrase I’m sick of in romance lol
