Status Updates From Roadside Picnic

I know it’s a “classic” but it wasn’t for me. Don’t get me wrong it’s interesting and was entertaining but it wasn’t hard for me to latch onto because the story more or less starts in the middle of key events. I’d just rather have more backstory and character building before the excitement.
