I am learning a lot of history. Amazing the human race has survived so much. Glad I live where and when I do.

The pictures are as interesting as the text. Helps to make a real connection to people of the past.

It's a dense history book with lots of information, but I am fascinated by the mix of people who have called this small island home and how it has become such a powerful influence on the entire world.
