I love how Lyra and Will compliment each other and their skill sets. But I’m also so sad for them more than anything. In these types of stories, most of the time I can forget just how young the protagonists are and focus on the adventure. But Lyra and Will are literally just children. Lyra is 12!!! It’s crazy how much they’ve already been through and they’re not even old enough to get a learners permit.
