Ch5 was on reasoning, largely. That man cannot simply follow the latter of man’s discoveries, because it cannot drive or critically develop for appliance with neglected foundations. I like the mentions of arithmetic here, identifying and ascribing mathematical operations to the mechanisms of critical thought and processing information.
