oh this was so so good… i loved the author’s writing style. it was part scathing expose of misogynists in academia, part biography, part history lesson, part appreciation for science and scientists, and wholly entertaining. i didn’t realise how sad the story of rosalind’s life was; it’s an embarrassment that the scale of her contributions to dna remain buried to this day.
