This book (at least up to this point) is filled with violence and despair as a house dog is now fighting to survive after being kidnapped from his happy home.

I started reading this book almost a year ago and am slowly getting through it while taking breaks of several weeks in between readings because although the content itself is very well written, it’s simply not a read that brings me much actual enjoyment.

Literally was just admiring my doggy Buck and came across a new slur so casually? Hahahaha it's not funny, but like it's so nuts because like there is absolutely no racial context. It's just what they called the fauna situation here. Wilddddd
