Where is the romance? The blurb makes it sound like Rick plays a somewhat important part but he's not even been in the book for more than 5 pages :(

This book is kinda weird. The MC has more mood swings than a pregnant lady and a bi-polar person mixed together. Then there's the occasional scene where he's an overly cliched gay boy leaning heavily on flaming. And I'm also confused about all this magic and who's doing what and how they're gonna do it while trying to figure out why the MCs bound. It's odd but I think I still like it
