Status Updates From Vera

Once again, I IMPLORE narrators of audiobooks to stop doing voices and accents. Please, please, please, I beg you. I can't abide it. It absolutely ruins every book I listen to. I'm an adult, and capable of using my own imagination. I don't need female narrators to make their voices gruff and ridiculous when a male character speaks. I know what accents sound like. There's NO NEED. Just read the words aloud. Thanks.
