Status Updates From Earthchild

This feels like what would happen if you had a really weird dream after reading too much science fiction and quickly tried to write down what happened.

Okay so there's this girl named Reee and an evil ocean that makes blue children and the girl has to kill the children to protect Mars and there are bouncy seals that eat people and pancake monsters and a good green blob named Emeroo!

It's a bit overwhelming...

This might even beat out John Robert Russell in terms of bizarreness. Every chapter brings a baffled expression to my face. I love it.

I can’t imagine what “Spinner” by the same author could be like based on the cover...

So, chapter one is over with and the author has given us a girl named Reee, a superintelligent green blob named Emeroo, another superintelligent but evil blob named Indigo, Martians flying around in “pobs”, 40ft pancake monsters called “flatties”, 8ft ballistic inflatable otters called “vembers”, and blue plant people sent by Indigo to infiltrate the human settlement on Mars...

This is why I love sci-fi.

We’re ten pages in and we’ve already given up on comprehensible sentence structure.
