At first I didn't realize that I had the wrong edition listed in my books here! This is an abridged edition, not the full original book. I like the zesty punch to it so far, so I'm going to continue with it. I wondered why this didn't seem like a book written back in the 1920s! But then is this really Tey's book? I'm not sure I like that someone came at it much later with a scalpel and changed her art....
