Status Updates From The Raft

One thing that stood out to me in this part was how Robie is trying to stay calm and figure out what she needs to do to survive. She thinks to herself: "Get a grip. I have to get a grip. Think, Robie. You can do this. Do what you to do to make it through this. Do what you need to do" (Bodeen 87). This is showing that she is trying to control her thoughts and staysfocused. I predict Robie will make it out of the ocean

Right now in the book, Robie is alone on the raft and scared that she may be stuck in the ocean. As she realizes how scared she is, she thinks, "I would not survive this night." (Bodeen 48). I predict Robbie will become stronger and find away to survive.
