It was great seeing Brooke open up a bit more in this chapter, but she has a long way to go. I felt so bad for Jack at the end.

Finally we learn the whole story, and everything is beginning to make sense. I really hope Jack can change Brooke's mind, and continue to help her let her guard down. I'm loving this story so far.

I feel bad for Brooke in a way, but I'm glad Jack is finally getting her talking. I want to know as bad as he does what is going on with her. There have been hints that something happened in the past to make the town hate her, but no details as to what exactly.

Jack may have taken Walter down a peg or two, but he needs to be taken down about ten more in my opinion the pompous jerk.

I'm liking the author's set up of this story more and more. Very believable.

Wow. That started off with a bang. I'm still trying to figure out what the good doctor is 'sorry' for. Nice set up. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next meeting between these two goes.

11% in and I'm already checking to see how much more there is before I'm done...not a good sign.

The premise of this book is silly. And the town's hate for the heroine is kinda stupid for stupid reasons and taken to extremes that sound too cliched.

Totally not getting the hero's motivation. His complete assistance that he has do make it right. It's dragging on too long and sounding cheesy and making him seem stupid.
