Status Updates From L'arte di correre

reading only up to the first chapter - as a runner who need to have an alone time myself, i could relate to murakami so much

i've never read any murakami and had the idea his work was difficult or inaccessible but this book is conversational, almost casual. the thrust of this seems to be how he's grown as a person through running, that he needs to put his thoughts down in writing to understand situations clearly. there's a promise of relatability, or perhaps bringing something to the surface? i'll commit to the first three chapters...
