Status Updates From Manchester 6

Book finished. Not overly impressed, even though short stories didn't flow well and didn't feel like a story at all.

Granted that most of the stories are flashes (or have a wordcount barely over that), it's tight snd fun.

There's no doubt COl Bury can write. His prose is tight and calculated. The stories I've read so far are a bit tentative (short, uncomitting), but the talent is there and I think the display was the whole point of the collection.
