Momenteel lees ik graag over het schrijfproces, daarom koos ik dit boek uit. Het is misschien gek om een memoir van Stephen King te lezen terwijl ik geen van zijn boeken gelezen heb. Maar horror maakt me gewoon te bang en daarom grijp ik daar nooit naar. Zijn memoir stelt tot nu toe niet teleur. Waar hij bepaalde gevoelens wil opwekken, lukt dat altijd. Zijn schrijfstijl is fijn en filmisch. Een waar voorbeeld.
