I've been making this my bed book which means I conk out after about four pages, so progress has been slow. Apropos of nothing, I noticed that saying the title sounds like I'm saying Shar-cunt, and there's no way around that.

Already off to a great start with an article about farcical anti-racism in Louisville in the early ‘60s. I knew he wasn’t racist, I just got a little nervous that I wouldn’t be able to prove it at some points!

Ich mag seine Charakterisierung Jimmy Carters, zum einen weil Jimmy Carter einfach ne coole Socke ist und zum andern weil Thompson Carter nicht mit irgeneiner gefaketen Bewunderung beschreibt, sondern so, als ob er ihn ohne es zu wollen mögen würde, was das ganze so viel schöner und glaubwürdiger macht
