Status Updates From The Forest Dwellers

Finished this beautifully told story about the life od the people who had been displaced from the New forest in the wake of the Norman Conquest last night. this is an enthralling read and i recommend it to those who enjoy Ms Arnopp's books and those who havent experienced them yet

This is an easy read so far and i enjoy the way the story is told from different points of view. There is a lot of minor historical anachronisms but if you concentrate on the story and ignore those its a very enjoyable read.

Quite the page-turner, tho did just stumble across a big plot hole that I'm hoping gets explained away soon.

Kinda weird to read historical fiction. I keep expecting Magic!
