I love how when I read I can get gripped into a book emotionally, like I can feel the characters joy, then find myself smiling or laughing along or like now and its raw pain and find myself crying along with their loss.

I just remembered why I don't really love end of the world or big natural disasters settings. The whole 'your friends and family are all gonna give and you're helpless to do anything about it' really freaks me out
