Status Updates From The Problem of Pain

Quite hard to follow especially when you don’t necessarily hold the same assumptions about reality. Interesting so far and makes you think about things we take for granted in a different way.

This sentence is breaking my brain and I can't let it go. I feel like I get the gist of what it's trying to say but I just cannot parse the grammar correctly.

"He is further from us because the sheer difference between that which has Its principle of being in Itself and that to which being is communicated is one compared with which the difference between an archangel and a worm is quite insignificant."
