Status Updates From Foucalt's Pendulum

Jesus, this is hard to fuckin’ read. I get that it’s intentional, showing how pretentious one of the protagonists is even in their inner monologue, but damn man, I either have to google every 5th word or just glaze over half a paragraph and hope to get the gist via context lol

This book requires an inordinate amount of patience, most of the first 100 pages made absolutely no sense, but still I plough on - at page 142 I seem to be finally getting my bearings and am glimpsing what might be going on.
