I don’t know if it is normal in British literature or what, but seeing the c*** word be thrown around as if it isn’t offensive makes me uncomfortable.
Currently in the middle of part two, and the story is still jumbled. Parts of the book make sense, but it is really tricky trying to figure out if the writer is talking about something in the past or the present.

I’ve finished a third of this book, and it is really confusing. The dialogue constantly jumps around from past to present, and the main character is extremely winy.
I plan to finish this thing come hell or high water, but this is really blah...
