Status Updates From The Chaperone

This is such a good book but some of it is really sad like she was in an orphanage and had to get on a train the Catholic nns put all these kids on trains to take them to Kansas so families could pick them and take care of them or whatever and so she goes back to this orphanage to find out who her parents are and absolutely refused to tell her and that Parts really sad because they're probably dead so what does it m

Must have been awful to be an orphan in an orphanage and then all of a sudden be swept away throwing on a train and the family picking you to live with them everything is strange and they're strangers it had to have been absolutely frightening
