he just said 'yellow peril' as if it's a normal word. okay okay this book is clearly racist, not even hiding it

maybe i should just stop reading it because in the entirety of japanese media chapter, there were 2 (!) sentences about manga and they were about how violent, raunchy and full of sexual assault these are.
Like for fuck's sake man why are you writing this book
but then also sometimes he would describe how narrowminded japanese people are and i'll remember how japan is really england of asia so ehhh, they both suck

this man is so hateful and disrespectful. i am stuck between wanting to know more about japan and wanting to throw this book in the recycling bin.

white man thinks he is funny. i did not pay for this book but i am getting the urge that it should have been made to pay rent for being on my shelf.
